Why don’t my top and pants match exactly if they’re the same color?

Even when two items are listed as the same color online, fabric matters. Different fabrics absorb and reflect dye differently, which can create slight variations in shade.

If your top and pants are made from the same fabric and collection, they’ll match beautifully. For example, a W123 top + W123 pant or a RENEW top + RENEW pant will be a spot-on match.

When you mix collections—like pairing RENEW pants with a Boundless top—you may notice subtle color differences. This is completely normal and due to how different fabrics take dye.
